My brain is full of Chemistry and possibility.
I sat in and gave gentle advice on John and Sean's first business meeting today. Oh, wait, what? Didn't I tell you about that? How thoughtless of me! John and Sean have been half talking out their asses and half seriously throwing around the idea of starting a computer repair business. Sean has the schooling and the experience, and John has been self taught to fix just about any problem that doesn't actually involve taking the platters out of a hard drive and scanning the info with a platter reader (which Sean DOES know how to do.) They sat down tonight and made a list of the things they would need to assemble for start up, and have made plans to start shopping around to get a price list on how much this will cost them. I'm excited to see an opportunity come up for John that might be something he can work with (a flexible schedule that he is in control of setting himself) so that he can do it while he's in school, fairly easily.
In other news, my brain is full of Chemistry, computing photon energy, wavelength, frequency, and quantum states of electrons. I have an assignment due tomorrow, and a test on Friday. I am so far doing well in this class, I hope to continue on that streak.
I cast on for some hand warmers yesterday, with the yarn Jill gave me (some stuff she hand dyed for me in varying shades of pink, green and brown) and they so far are looking SMASHING! I got two cable repeats done while I was working with John and Sean on their proposal tonight, and I am hoping to have the set done by the end of the weekend. (This would mean no more cold hands next week, and that would be awesome.)
It's about time for me to get back to my Chemistry.
