Things I did today...

-Got pissed off. Seriously.
-Had a couple of drinks, chicken strips, and fries with a Co-Worker who took pity on me when he saw what an ass fuck of a day I had
-Came home to a SPOTLESS HOUSE because my wonderful husband knew I was stressed out with the mess and he CLEANED THE WHOLE THING, INCLUDING WASHING OUR SHEETS AND FLIPPING OUR MATTRESS AND SCRUBBING THE BATHROOM. I am so so thankful. What a nice thing to do, and it really shows he's been listening to me lately. I almost got a bit teary when I walked in and saw all the work he put in today. He even watered my plants.
-I ARRANGED KNITTING LESSONS!!! I have been wanting to really learn how to knit. Not only am I going to get lessons every week, but the SpinCycle girls, Rachel and Kate, are giving them to me! Really, for serious! They are going to have me put money on their cards at my coffee shop in exchange for teaching me to knit! Originally, I asked Solomon, Kate's boyfriend, if he thought she might be interested, and she was, and she was so excited that she told Rachel, who was also very excited about it! I have yarn and a pattern for a bag. They are jazzed. I asked Kate to talk to Rachel and work out a day/time in the next two weeks when we can start, and we will be doing this weekly! I'M SO EXCITED!
-I called Bikram and got prices. I hope to be starting on Monday. This will be expensive, but dammit, my health is worth the expense. I need this. I can't wait.
-I decided that I am going to make it happen to take a trip to New Zealand before Dan and Courtney leave. Carly and I are going to make it happen next year. I just will. It's as simple as that. I don't make travel a priority, I don't make things for myself a priority. That has to change, and I can't think of anyone else I'd rather take that super trip with! I am going to make the commitment to myself to get there!
-I went shopping at Target for some work clothes I can wear in the warm weather, with a gift card that John gave to me! He won it at work, and gave it to me because he wanted me to do something nice for myself. How rad is that?

My husband rocks.

In fact, right now, he's making our bed and calling me to it, with clean sheets that he took the time to wash today with the rest of our laundry. He also came to get me from the bar, even though he didn't want to leave the house or come down to hang out. He also came and sat with me in the Drop for a bit this afternoon. I think this may be a result of a talk we had last night, and he really took it to heart and is making such an effort today. He really does love me, and it feels... amazing. I didn't realize that anyone could love me this much, enough to put up with all my shit and think I'm wonderful anyway.

And he's cute.

I am a lucky lucky woman.

I am going to bed. Goodnight, peanuts.
