I am t3h best wife EVAR

I got up this morning at 7:30, took care of the puppy, fed the animals, let them all out and got them water.

I had to run down to the shop to drop off some plants I'm giving Teri to replace the African Daisies that got stolen from the planter boxes in front of our shop by some stupid fuckers. (That happened Monday night/ Tuesday morning. I got to work to open on Tuesday at 5:30 and there was soil all over the sidewalk and entryway to our shop and all over the bench out front, and the two beautiful purple African Daisy plants that Teri spent her day off planting and caring for were gone. People suck, sometimes.) I also left a huge bowl of fresh cut fruit in our work fridge and I had a plant there that I needed to get into the ground before it died! (Teri dug one up from her garden for me to plant on the side of my house where nothing lives right now, and like a dumbass I left it at work, bag of soil and all. It doesn't look too happy right now, so after I post this I'll be putting it in the ground.) I bought a soy white chocolate mocha for John and put some money onto his account at the shop. I also bought a mocha for Jill and got some drip coffee for myself. I brought Dexter along so John could sleep and not have to worry about him crying in his kennel or tearing our room apart while John dozes.

I ran the mocha to Jill and asked her about some "oops" paint to paint the louvered closet doors I'll be getting and using for my display for the show. She told me she has several pounds of frozen berries for me, and that means FREEZER JAM and COBBLER FILLING and ICE CREAM TOPPINGS and I knew John would be excited. I made arrangements to go get all that stuff later today when we pay rent.

I went and grabbed breakfast for John and I, and came home with food and OJ and coffee after letting him sleep in. I let Dexter jump on him and wake him up, and then I told him I had a time sensitive surprise for him, and that he needed to get up.

He wandered out, sleepy eyed and rubbing his head and yawning. I showed him what I brought for him, and the cutest smile broke out on his waking up face. He confirmed, yup, best wife EVAR.

Now he's firmly ensconced with the Wii for the morning. Observe.



Also, Hilary took this of Dexter the other day, begging for a cookie.



Sometimes, I look around, and love my life. It is full of things to laugh about, and things of beauty to share.

Now, off to planting and then sewing! I have lots to accomplish!
